The Trans Girl's Guide to the Galaxy

About Me
Hi there! I'm Margaux...
Just another trans girl in her twenties, going through life and biding my time until Pedro Pascal realizes that I've been right here, waiting for him, all along!
No, no. In all seriousness, early on in my transition, like so many other trans folks I know - I spent time scouring the internet for a guidebook on how to be the right kind of girl, how to know which path(s) to take with navigating medical transition logistics, and how to deal with the changing of my body, mind, and spirit - as I progressed along in my transition. Much to my dismay, I found that there wasn't really a rulebook, and so, I decided to pour myself into journaling, something that my very first therapist turned my onto, and something that I've continually used as a tool to process life - for my entire adulthood.
Through journaling, I realized that I had a story worth sharing - one that baby Margaux would have loved to have read, even before she knew who she was. I thought, if these anecdotes could have helped me to better understand what life as a trans person is like, to feel better prepared - maybe it could help someone else, too. And even if not, the world lacks stories with trans protagonists - so why not share my own. And that's how The Trans Girl's Guide to the Galaxy was born.
So whether you're here for a short stay, or for the entire journey: thank you for being here, for taking the time to read my words, and for all the love and support.
